Well today we have had the axles off the chassis and started to give it the first coat of chassis black paint.
So unbolted the springs and moved chassis in to the garage and out with the brushes and rollers.
The first coat looks good, still the underside to paint and then a second coat and will be done ready for the engine and boxes to go back in.

Chassis turned and bottom painted.

I like your steps (chassis stands in your pic) they look very useful. Could have done with some of those myself on a few occasions.
Yeah we are impressed it went that well for an hours work. We are probably back at it tonight with the question of do we go for second coat on the top or turn over and give the bottom its first.
The steps are brilliant, they are just lower than the normal height of the chassis so are handy getting axles off and on.
If I get some spare cash I’ll treat myself to a set 🙂
